Dear Partners and friends,

Thank you for your prayers and support. We appreciate your faithfulness in standing with us in our mission work. We ask God to bless you abundantly and provide for you and protect you in these difficult economic times.

Proverbs 19:17- “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.”

We have had an eventful busy month. Mary returned from a successful trip to the UK. She returned to the news that a small group of orphans left at our Headquarters in Myanmar had doubled in size and a makeshift children’s home has been started with pleas of help from our Director in Myanmar.

We were such a vital help to the villages worst hit by the recent cyclone that when the Christians in the villages did not know what to do with the orphaned children they turned to us for help. In the natural our resources are stretched to the maximum and we can’t take on any more. After getting advice from our trustees and advisors it was decided that we had to at least try and raise the funds for this children’s home. We have decided to do a sponsorship program for a year for the home to get it established and up and running.

Matthew 5:14- “But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

A young couple that recently married and graduated from our Bible College in Yangon have come forward to oversee the Children’s Home and look after the children. We have 18 children that RTW Myanmar is committed to raise up in the Lord. They have told us they need $20.00 a month per child for food, clothes, education and housing. We are praying for 18 people to commit to $20.00 a month for a year to do this project. Please pray for Rebecca and Abraham as they take on this new challenge and ministry.

We would like to ask our partners to help us find sponsors by sharing this information with friends, churches and children or youth groups who would like to sponsor a child as part of their mission outreach.
