Dear
Friends and Partners,
Thank
you for your faithful prayers and support. We
ask that you stand in agreement with us for
an increase in finances and an increase in new
partners with a heart for missions. We know
that God is faithful and meets all of our needs.
News
from Myanmar:
We
have received good news from the Nazareth Childrens
Home that the two boys who have received medical
treatment are recovering and back in school.
Before they came to the childrens home
they were suffering from malnutrition but now
with your love, proper diet and medical treatment
they are growing strong in bodies and spirit.
Thank you to all our partners from the staff
and children.
We
have just completed the addition of an office
and library for the Bible school in Yangon.
This will be a big help to the students who
are attending now and also for past students
for their continued training and preparation
for the ministry.
The
new church buildings in the villages of Lashio,
Heho and Indaw are almost finished. We have
achieved much already this year. Thank you for
being a part of this success.
Personal
News:
Mary
will be in the UK for four weeks ministering
and seeing our daughter Faith who lives in Manchester,
England. Faith took a year off work last year
to travel with two other girl friends on a backpacking
trip. It was a wonderful experience for her.
She was in South America, New Zealand, Australia
and Asia. She especially loved her time in Asia.
She has always had a special love for the childrens
homes that we sponsor and she volunteered to
help at an orphanage in Viet Nam. Faith returned
to England and went back to her job in Manchester
which helps disabled people find employment.
She is continuing to study sign language. We
are very proud of Faith and we know that God
has good plans for her.
Please
pray for Mary as she ministers in the UK that
she will have divine favor and protection as
she travels and opportunity to promote our mission
work.
We
want to remember our good friend and partner
Jerry Taylor who after a long illness has gone
on to be with the Lord. We pray for his wife
Linda and family that God will comfort them
and give them peace. Jerry and Linda have been
a part of our ministry and mission work for
25 years. Money was donated at his memorial
service in memory of Jerry to go to the Nazareth
Childrens Home in Myanmar.
Thank
you for standing with us to reach the world
with the good news of Jesus Christ.
In
His service,
Roger
and Mary King
